Our Mission

The Flower Guild strives to bring the beauty of God's creation into our church which enhances our worship and expresses our gratitude to God. The generosity of the congregation allows for fresh flowers to be placed in the sanctuary every Sunday through their dedications and donations.

A flower guild member works every weekend to arrange the flowers for the altar, creating beautiful displays that inspire worship and reflection.

How We Serve

The Flower Guild meets twice a year to plan for Easter and then for Christmas and the following year. Our responsibilities include:

  • Organizing into teams to arrange flowers weekly.
  • Ordering fresh flowers.
  • Arranging flowers for each Sunday and special events.
  • Coordinating with the rector to align flowers with the overall worship experience.
  • Working together and with volunteers on all major holidays.

We are also responsible for special seasonal arrangements including palms for Palm Sunday, Easter lilies, and Christmas poinsettias, wreaths and greenery. Additionally, we may assist with funeral and wedding flowers or table arrangements for special church occasions.
