The generosity of the congregation allows for fresh flowers to be placed in the sanctuary every Sunday through their dedications and donations. A flower guild member works every weekend to arrange the flowers for the altar.
The flower guild meets once a year during the late fall to plan for the next year. Other responsibilities include developing the weekly donation list, processing the donation forms, ordering flowers and assigning members by pairs each month to arrange flowers weekly.
The flower guild is also responsible for the palms for Palm Sunday, the Easter lilies and Christmas poinsettias, wreaths and greenery. Additionally the flower guild may be called upon to assist with funeral flowers or table arrangements for special occasions.
